First Thursdays Forenoon Program

The Moya Library/Ross Historical Society continues its decades-long tradition of talks with informative and interesting topics presented by historians, authors and local personalities.

Many thanks to all who attended our last presentation of 2023: Forgotten Towns of West Marin. Dewey Livingston told us about a handful of places little known today, such as Tocaloma and Bivalve, but with fascinating histories.

We are planning another set of presentations for 2024, starting in March.

The First Thursday Forenoon lectures are held in the Livermore Pavilion at the Marin Art & Garden Center. The programs begin at 11:00 a.m., and last for about one hour. A donation of $10.00 per person is requested.

Please check back later for details on the program for 2024, or browse our lecture archive.
